STEINER
In 1888, the Steiner family founded a wool mill at the foot of the Dachstein massif to process local sheep wool. More than a century later, Steiner processes high-quality wool from all over the world into finest, 100% natural products.
Today, the family business is already in its fifth generation. However, the company's philosophy has always remained the same: "From the selection of the wool to the fiber-friendly processing, each piece is crafted with care and love."
GOMMUS
Gommus is an Italian company that has been manufacturing high-performance shoe soles since 1985 and selling them worldwide.
Made in Italy
Located in Vallesina, in the Italian Marche region, Gommus specializes in the design, production, and marketing of rubber, TR, TPU, or EVA products.

Terracare® - leather as it should be
The terracare® label from Leather Factory Heinen represents impeccably produced performance leather, manufactured in a German traditional company. Terracare® leather is produced as environmentally friendly as possible: only raw materials from German livestock are used, which are processed as environmentally friendly as possible. Through various measures, the company has reduced water consumption by 40%. Terracare® avoids waste almost entirely through a recycling rate of 97% and minimizes its CO² footprint by using renewable energies.
Terracare® leather has been awarded the "Gold Standard" by the Leather Working Group.
CARL KLOSTERMANN & SONS
In 1891, Carl Klostermann founded the company Carl Klostermann & Sons with his sons. Since then, the Klostermann family and descendants have been engaged in the production of braided products, primarily cords and shoelaces, in Wuppertal.
The company philosophy is "We must leave our children and grandchildren an intact ecological, social, and economic structure. One cannot exist without the other" (quote from the Council for Sustainable Development). Since 2020, they have been covering a part of their electricity needs with self-generated power, and the rest is supplemented by purchasing green energy. They also prioritize short procurement routes, the use of sustainable products (e.g., Tencel™), waste reduction and separation, and energy saving through targeted monitoring.
GEBRÜDER JAEGER
With over 95 years of experience, Jaeger develops products based on textile and plastic components for various industrial applications.
They fulfill important functions in complete systems: reinforcing, sealing, coating, laminating, bonding, sealing, and binding. Jaeger has been a key partner of the footwear and leather goods industry for years, supplying renowned companies with the highest quality requirements.
They prioritize sustainability through the use of particularly environmentally friendly raw materials and their processing, such as Tencel, organic cotton, linen, wool, recycled PES, and PA.
RELTEX
Seit Gründung im Jahr 1970 stellt RELTEX in Frankreich Schuhsohlen aus Hevea-Milch her.
Die Hevea-Milch stammt von verantwortungsbewusst bewirtschafteten Plantagen aus Malaysia und Thailand.
Der handwerkliche Herstellungsprozess ist einzigartig und folgt diesen Phasen:
• Hevea-Milch in Formen gießen • Koagulation • Kochen • Trocknen
Der Prozess umfasst rund 50 manuelle Vorgänge, die sich über eine Woche erstrecken.
Seit 2007 trägt das Unternehmen die Bezeichnung „ENTRPREPRISE DU PATRIMOINE VIVANT“ (LIVING HERITAGE COMPANY). Die Sohlen werden seit 1992 unter der Marke LACTAE HEVEA vermarktet und werden von hochwertigen Marken-Schuhherstellers eingesetzt.
